This year I promised myself before I turned 25 I would be on T.V or have something people could see worldwide, I had no idea I would receive a phone call from Ozone Magazine to shoot the cover for their April issue!
Those of you who don’t know Ozone Magazine was founded in Orlando, Florida in 2002; it has since expanded its vast reach nationally. In 2006 the magazine relocated its headquarters to Atlanta, Georgia. Ozone has grown from a local publication to a national publication that can be found in major retailers. The magazine has helped launch and maintain the careers of many southern emcees such as Stat Quo, Pitbull, and T Pain but does not limit itself to coverage of only southern artists.
Along with two of my friends we hit the road at about 4pm from Orlando all the way to Atlanta, we did not arrive into Atlanta till about 3am. So the option of doing a tech scout was out of the question. Now I would be lying if I said I was not nervous, this has to have been the worst case of bubble guts I had ever had. Im thinking to myself “I have no idea where Im going to shoot this guy” The closer it came to shoot time the more i felt like I was gonna lose it. But Somehow I was able to pull myself together, My team and I woke up extra early to figure out where we were going to shoot. We quickly found some pretty cool exclusive locations before meeting with the Artist.
When He arrived everything just fell into place. Here are some pictures from the shoot
The Artist you see is B.O.B out of Decatur, Georgia you can find more information on him by clicking his name.
The issue I shot for was the April issue which was displayed in stores such as 7/11 & F.Y.E
I still look forward to shooting more images for Ozone!!!
