Superhero, animé, and comedy — told with heart and a straight face.
I didn't get discovered. I built an audience of millions first, and the industry caught up.
My eye was shaped early — I grew up partly in Japan, following my mother through her Marine Corps career. That's where the superhero and animé DNA in my work comes from, and the comedy came from everything after.
I came up through Sony TV's Diverse Directors Program, shadowing on New Girl and Saved By The Bell. I've directed campaigns for Lyft, T-Mobile, Allstate and Dreyer's, more than $4M in branded content, and Kevin Hart's Masterclass. My short Vigilante premiered at the American Black Film Festival and plays on American Airlines.
I was nominated for a Streamy for Best Director, named a game-changing influencer by Bloomberg, and became the first director signed to Tool of North America's influencer-director division. In 2024 I joined the Directors Guild of America.
I'm developing my first feature. And I'm still posting every day.
It's not about a million people seeing your work. It's about the right person seeing your worth.
75 minutes, live on Zoom, capped at 50 people. How to build an audience that actually belongs to you, and how to turn it into paid work without waiting for anybody in this industry to pick you first. What film school doesn't teach.
